This project investigates the innovative use of robotic fiber weaving in conjunction with flat-packed wood structures. The process begins with on-site assembly of the wood components, utilizing snap-in-place joints to create a precise three-dimensional framework.
Within this framework, robotic weaving technology is employed to intricately craft the canopy, translating complex geometries into a cohesive and functional design. The synergy between the flat-packed structure and robotic weaving allows for the creation of efficient, yet aesthetically striking forms that challenge traditional construction practices.
By merging material efficiency with structural integrity, this project serves as a foundation for future exploration of scalable, unique architectural solutions, demonstrating the vast potential of robotic fiber weaving in modern design.
