This event, brought together Bishop Dr. Gerber, Pastor Patrick Prähler, and community members, honoring the work led by BIELING ARCHITECTS, with Director Dipl.-Ing. Hagen Sparbrodt guiding the project. This restoration not only revives the cloister’s architectural beauty but also underscores the importance of skilled preservation in the building sector.

Precision and Tradition in Restoration

Under the leadership of BIELING ARCHITECTS, the two-year restoration of the cloister involved painstaking care to preserve the integrity of its medieval stonework, stained glass, and vaulted ceilings. Each element was treated with respect for the past: masons from Denkmalpflege Mühlhausen meticulously restored the stone facades, while glass specialists from Schneemelcher stabilized the delicate, historic stained-glass windows, allowing natural light to enhance the cloister’s renewed vibrancy.
